I’ve been reading about the power of asking questions to change your circumstances.
Not disempowering questions like “how am I going to pay my bills?” or “how am I going to feed my family?” Those questions already assume failure. I’ve asked those questions before, and they don’t help at all.
I’m talking about asking open-ended empowering questions. Questions like
What else is possible with my finances?
What if I made even more money than I make right now?
These are questions that should make you fee lighter and get you thinking about the future in a positive way. They also imply to your subconscious mind that you already have some level of success. This is all important when working to create something better.
Questions like these can bring up possibilities that you may not have considered before. They are intended to help reprogram your subconscious mind. I read somewhere that the subconscious mind must find a solution to every question that is asked of it.
What if I could make more money working for myself from home?
What if network marketing was a viable business?
Don’t worry about coming up with specific answers to the questions and don’t dismiss them out of hand. Consider the possibilities that they bring up. Can you see yourself working from home? What would it be like if you didn’t have to drive through rush hour traffic every morning and afternoon?
You can come up with different questions to ask yourself based on what area of your life you are looking to improve. Here I am focused on financial and business. You can ask change this to focus on relationships, health, or any other area of your life that you want to work on.
What if I had a business that supported my physical health and my financial health?
The right questions can help you paint some very vivid images in your mind of how things could be, kind of like a mental vision board. Having your mental vision board inspired by asking questions infuses it with the emotional power necessary to move it from vision to reality. The more often you visit the questions, the more power you give the vision.
If my questions here sparked something that appealed to you, then I would like to talk to you. I believe we can work together. I am working from home on a network marketing business in the wellness industry and I am looking for some motivated people to work with.
Remember, your questions need to make you feel lighter and it is better if they imply some level of existing success. Try it then come back and let me know how it worked for you.
