Where Are You Going to Share Your Message?

To be successful in anything, you have to have a passion for it, and it has to be for more than just getting money for selling something. In traditional network marketing you share your passion or your message with people when you talk to them face-to-face. Online you have many places that you can share your message. That’s really what social media is all about. But you will have one central place that you own and control that will be your primary location for getting your message out.
One of the biggest mistakes that new people to internet network marketing make is to think that one of the free online website services will be enough for their business. I’m talking about free blogs like wordpress.com or blogger.com, Facebook fan pages, or their company’s replicated website. You need to have control over your online presence, and you don’t have any control with these services. You don’t own your site and they can shut your website down without any warning. You are also limited to what you can do with them and how well you can market them.
You are much better off with a self-hosted website as your central location on the web. You own and control your content. You have more control over how it works so that you have the ability to improve the amount of traffic that you attract. You can brand yourself right down to your own URL.
You might be think that this is more than what you are capable of. If this was several years ago then that might be true, but it isn’t anymore. Anyone can get online now easily and inexpensively. There are are many low-cost webhosting companies that take care of just about everything for you. Pretty much all you have to do is create your content, and that is about as easy as creating a document with Microsoft Word (easier if you ask me because I find MS Word to be rather tedious).
My personal preference for webhosting is HostMonster. I have been using them for almost 3 years now and they provide a reliable service and excellent technical support for those rare times that I need it. You can check them out for yourself here. (Please note, that is an affiliate link. When you sign up with HostMonster I will make an affiliate commission. Once you have signed up, I encourage you to become an affiliate as well so that you can make commissions from the people who join you.)
I provide more in-depth support for anyone who decides to join my team. If you like what you have seen so far and are ready to consider joining my team then either reply to the email that brought you here, use the email link above next to my picture, or leave a comment below. Be sure to include your phone number and a good time to call you. Let me know what timezone you are in just in case we are not in the same one. We’ll talk a little about what your interests and goals are and see if we want to work together.
Next time I will talk about how to create your content and get it online.
