Welcome to my Nikken team newsletter for May 2012.
The big news items this month are the Royal Alliance event that was in Orlando, FL on May 3-5 and my Silver Challenge that starts right now. More about them in a few minutes.
Our Nikken Teammates
Mike in Port Saint Lucie, FL had yet another record month. Every month except for March so far this year Mike has set a new personal best in volume.
It is important for us that he is succeeding like this because he is building his Nikken business online doing the same things that I am doing. This is the validation that we need to prove that online is a viable way to build a Nikken business.
The Silver Challenge is about taking this to the next level for all of us. Again, more about the Silver Challenge in a few minutes.
What’s New With Nikken
Nikken has discontinued the PiMag Counter Top (not the Waterfall) and PiMag Under Counter water filtration systems.
Dave Balzer, Nikken’s product guru explained that the counter top system has pretty much obsoleted itself. More and more people are going to designer faucets for their kitchens and they don’t provide a way to screw in the diverter valve to connect the hoses for the counter top system. It doesn’t sound like there will be a new one coming.
He said that there is still a demand for the under counter system though and Nikken is working on it. The old under counter filtered water to meet the NSF standards, but did nothing to improve the pH of the water, make it more alkaline. The new system, when ready, will make the water more alkaline and ionize it, similar to what the PiMag Waterfall does.
New Magnetic Products Coming
The old sleep mask disappeared in the past month too, which was the last of the Elastomag-related items. I have been told that there is a new sleep mask and new magnetic support wraps coming. I don’t know when that will be, but I am looking forward to it. The new wraps should sell very well.
Nikken Bronze Training
Last month I told you that Nikken changed the business kit and it now includes a ticket for attendance to the new Bronze Training. The training is actually broken up into 3 parts and the admission is for the third part, which is the live training.
The first two parts of Bronze Training are videos and you can find them on YouTube. The first video (BT 1.1) is a pretty good introduction to Nikken and is available. The second part (BT 2.1) is more about Nikken’s take on traditional face-to-face network marketing.
The Royal Alliance Event
The Royal Alliance was started about a year and a half ago by the Royal Diamond distributors to create one unified voice for the distributors to work more closely with Nikken corporate, and it has worked very well from what I can tell.
They had their second annual event, a convention for Nikken distributors by Nikken distributors, in Orlando, FL from May 3rd through May 5th, about a week and a half ago now.
There were a handful of people there from Nikken
- Kurt Fulle – President and CEO for Nikken International
- Larry Proffit – Executive VP International Sales & Nikken University
- Jonathan Hallstrom – VP of Sales for Nikken North America
- Ben Woodward – VP of Sales for Nikken Europe
- Dave Balzer – Nikken’s product guru
- Annie Eng – Formulator of CiagaV and Bergisterol
as well as a lot of very successful Diamond and Royal Diamond Nikken distributors to talk to and learn from.
I already wrote about my experience at the Royal Alliance Event here, so there really isn’t a need to go through it all again.
I want our team to be well represented at the Royal Alliance event next year, and that brings me to…
My Silver Challenge
One of the great things about Nikken’s compensation plan is that it promotes cooperation and teamwork.
You can only advance so far in your Nikken distributorship on your own. You can get to Silver, but no farther.
Well, I have been Silver now for about six months, and the only way for me to advance is to help my teammates reach Silver. When I help three front-line people reach Silver, then I am automatically Gold. That’s the only way it can be done.
I made the decision on my way home from Orlando that I am ready to go Gold. That means that I need at least three people on my team who are ready to make the decision to go Silver. I would like everyone to make that decision.
That’s what my Silver Challenge is about.
We are going to blog regularly about wellness and network marketing in general, and about Nikken specifically. We are going to comment on and share each other’s posts to drive up our search engine rankings.
In short, we are going to dominate the internet as far as Nikken is concerned.
I have written more about the Silver Challenge here, so check it out.
You don’t have to know how to do it, just that you want to play. I’m here to show you how and help along the way. Oh, and I’m playing too.
Email or call me to let me know that you are in.
That’s it for this month. As always, feel free to call or email me any time that you have a question.
