To be successful in network marketing you have to stick with the business long-term. This isn’t a get rich quick scheme where you come it, make a bundle of money, and get out. Network marketing is something that you build over time and enjoy the benefits for as long as you want to run your business.
With that in mind, it is important to take a break every now and then so that you don’t get burned out. Working on this day after day you can become too attached to the details and lose sight of the big picture. As an internet network marketer, you easily become too focused on writing blog posts and getting traffic and forget that what you are really doing is helping people create their own freedom.
What I like to do once every week or two is go hiking. I’m fortunate to be close to the southern end of the Appalachian Trail, so my wife and I will take a morning while the kids are in school and go hike for a few hours. That allows me to clear my head and refocus on what I’m really building my home-based business for. Once I’m thinking clearly, I am open to inspiration. New ideas for blog posts and other things that I can do to further my goals for my business will just come to me.
