Prior to starting with Nikken in 2006 I was a web developer and had just graduated from massage school. One of my instructors mentioned Kevin Trudeau's Natural Cures book, so my wife and I started reading it. I don't recommend the book but it did mention that people should sleep on a magnetic pad. I asked another massage therapist what he knew about magnets and he introduced us to Nikken.
When I saw the products I understood how they could help people. Massage therapists always offer to a client after a session, and this water was better. Nutritional supplements are important. The magnets stood out and they are what makes Nikken unique. With the magnets I could work on people without causing them or me as much discomfort. If you've had a massage where the therapist is working on a trigger point, it hurts. If it hurts then you aren't relaxing, so the benefits are reduced. It also causes strain on the therapist. So, I saw that the magnets could help a lot with massage.
As great as the products are, I saw real benefits from the business opportunity. A massage therapist's income is service-based, which means that it is limited by the number of people they can see in a day. Most massage therapists that I know have to work way too much just to get by, and if they overdue it on a client and injure their thumbs or wrists, they are out of work. The business opportunity gives anyone in a service field a good way to take the cap off their income.
Seeing how both the products and the opportunity could help my family and my clients, signing up was the obvious choice. And just because I'm a massage therapist and my sponsor is a massage therapist, don't think that you need to be a massage therapist to be a Nikken distributor. It is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to feel better, help other people feel better, and make some good money while doing it. There are many doctors, chiropractors, and nurses in the Nikken ranks as well as stay-at-home moms, former real estate agents, and just about any other profession you can think of.
